hi all,

i got psw from outside the UK on 23rd july, 2009. i have been in my home country for 11 months and i worked there for 10 months ie from nov, 2008 to aug, 2009. i came to the UK on 20th aug, 2009 and i got a temperory job here ie from 25th aug, 2009 to 30th sep, 2009. i have booked in person appointment on the 10th of dec, 2009 for tier 1 general. i m jobless at the moment. my question is that ,
is there will be any problem if i remain jobless until my appointment date?

advice me (senior member plz)

apply for self employment with HMRC before appointment with ho

Remaining jobless or with job has no connection with Tier 1, the important thing is that if you can earn enough points to apply for Tier 1 visa or not? Please see points based calculator for this.

thanks mate,

i have checked the points based calculater and i can earn the required points easly. my earning from nov, 2008 to sep, 2009 are more then enough. but as u know i am jobless since 1st octber, 2009 and if i remain jobless until my appointment date which on 10th of cec, 2009.

will this affect my tier 1 general appliation in any way. just want to clarify this.

103. An applicant does not have to be in continuous or full-time employment during the 12 months being assessed.
