sacked from job coz of Home office while waiting for appeal

hi all,
i hope thhere will be someone out there to help me regarding this.i applied for IGS->PSW transitional arrangemnet in july 2009,had my rejection after one month with right of appeal,been to the hearing in October,refused again and send my application for reconsideration yesterday.now 3 days back my employer sacked me from my job on the reason that Homeoffice didnt verify my documents and i have got no right to work in uk,so i cant continue my work.i have spoken to my solicitor and he said he cant do anything as HO can say anything in this matter whether i can work or not.while under section 3c or 3d i am entitled to work as it was an ontime application and it is to be treated as continuation of leave with all the conditions remain on previous leave.so i am just totally lost and dunno what to do or who to contact regarding this matter.should i call homeoffice or what????
can naybody plz put some light on it and guide me what to do and how to solve this matter.looks like jungle law to me where HO is the king who can do whatever and no one is there to question them or challenge them.

1. If u case is still in process then u r legal here and all u conditions and work permission automatically gets extended unless a decision is reached.
2. U employer however, probably did not understand the situation and i think u just have to wait and see wat happens.
3. It will be very difficult for you to get a job and prove that u r entitled to work as u case is still going onplus the companies really do not want to employ anybody in a similiar situation like yours.

thnx for your advise ash but that's all i already knw man.i cant wait and watch i need to do someting and thats what i am asking for that what should i do?which door should i knck now??coz on one side its my employer and the otherside its HO illetrates,who dont have any idea that how badly it could affect me to loose my job in such a critical situation.in my case HO just act like that monkey who is siiting on top of a tree and all you can see from bottom is his knee cap,which they are without any doubt

If you were doing security Job I am afraid that you will unable to do that anymore.

1. I totally undestand wau u saying but like i said there is not much u can do about that.
2. Perhaps u can write a letter to them and ask about u working situation while the appeal is in the process and show that response to the employer.

You're on a PSW visa and you're working in a warehouse?! If you can't get a job in your field of 'study' then why not go back to your home country and get a job in it there and then come back with experience?

Perhaps you should contact your MP, as they have a quicker access to the UK border agency than even solicitors. There is a likelihood that the matter will be clearly explained to them. You should ask your legal representative to demand an explanition from the UK border agency as that is what you obviously paid him/her for.

Have you got an acknowledement letter from them, when you sent your application, have you proof that your appeal was submitted in time.

If the answer to the above questions is in the positive, you will qualify under section 3C and 3D of the 1971 immigration Act.

If you do, i will suggest you contact the HO and get you MP to do the same.

You can also contact the employment help line, as they mostly give inaccurate information to employers.
