Can we claim earnings for past 11 months ?

Post by kewlclassic » Wed Oct 21, 2009 7:30 pm

-Gurus

One of my slips is not matching my bank statement and even employer letter doesn't match that. So is it ok if I do not claim the one that is not matching? so that I can claim for 11 months and I do have enough earnings for 11 months going above 40K pounds per annum.

Please let me know

Thanks

Yes, you can do so.

104. An applicant may claim for a period of earnings of less than 12 months if they have earned sufficient funds to claim the necessary points. http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... 310309.pdf page 20 of 44.

The months themselves need not be consecutive i.e. there can be a break in the earnings provided the "12 month" earnings period you have chosen is continuous - within the 12 month consecutive earning period an applicant choses, he is free to use earnings for any number of months whether consecutive or not.
