You can use GROSS salary for your salary calculation including your 24-hrs Oncall, overtime, skill allowances, bonuses etc. along as it is mentioned in your payslips and corroborated in your bank statement.canon123 wrote:I am working for current employer for 1 year now. my question is I get paid Basic pay as £1020 + premimum pay as £89 + 24Hr support as £166. So, my gross pay for a month is £1275. I pay tax for £1275 everymonth and my net pay is around £1050. And I do some self employment work as well.
my question is can I include this premium pay and 24hr support to show for Tier1 General or does it need to be only Basic Pay.
Can someone guide me through on this please
You might've been rejected because you might've worked more than 20 hours per week in your other job, you might've worked during your normal hours of your main job or your 2nd job isn't in the same field or same level as your main job. So if your main job is in IT for example, you can't go and stack shelves in Asda. It has to be a similar job in IT otherwise the 2nd job is illegal.ali_hsn wrote:It states that because I am on workpermit I am not allowed to work for anyone but my employer (not even for myself). They considered my work salary which was just shy of 20k. Applying again by the end of next week, you can get more info in my thread.

Choose the GROSS INCOME for the 12months you are choosing to show for your earnings not wat is mentioned in contract letter..blr wrote:Hi,
While calculating points for previous earnings, does one calculate on the basis of the cost to company (what is usually mentioned in the offer letter) or the total gross income for the 12 months being shown on the payslips?
