Post by newlife2009 » Sat Oct 24, 2009 8:25 am

A quick question for the surname on Life in the UK test certificate.

I got married and under 2 years spouse visa.

when I passed the life in the UK test, it only shown my maiden name (not the married name) on the certificate, is it okay ?

Should not be a problem, as long as you explain that it is your maiden name and teh test was done before you got married and adopted your husband surname

The test centre can only use the name shown on your passport. Have you officially changed your name to your husband's?

It is so hard to change my name in my own country.....my passport shown my maiden name...... will it be a problems if my pass certificate shown maiden name, but some supporting documents shown my married name ?
