ILR application Query - Salary

Post by neerma » Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:13 am

Hi everybody,
I am due to apply for ILR under 5 year workpermit. I will be applying with my dependant wife and a kid. I have a bought a flat as well for which I am paying mortgage at the moment. I am managing all our family expenses with some savings as well. I have never claimed any benefits.

Is there any minimum salary limit needed for a work permit holder to apply ILR with 2 dependants ?

My salary is 18k per annum which is the same as stated in my work permit. My only worry is my salary, which is very less. I do not have any other income. Could somebody please advice ?

Thankyou for your reply HaseebKhan.

Hi Sushil-ACCA,
Thankyou for your reply.
My salary is the same as mentioned in my work permit. And all the taxes are paid properly. And I am not claiming any benefits as well. So I assume everything should be fine then.

Guys

Is there any requirement of savings or maintenance funds to be shown while applying for PR.I mean savings like instantly accessible cash etc..If we have a house and save and invest in pensions ,share schemes etc does it help or do we need to show a specified amount.
