Hi there folks thought i would seek a little help from the good and wise on here.,
My situation is i have been with my partner for 8/9 months and next week she is flying back home to Australia and will be applying for a Fiancee visa.
She came here on a working/holiday 24 month visa but has been unable to work in the uk for the past 7 months approx as i'm sure most are aware she was only able to work 12 of the 24 as a result i have been supporting her during this time. I am now a little low on funds so was thinking about waiting until January to apply when i will have saved up £2000 as i'm thinking this will look better for the application. I currently take home £1350 per month and pay £350 per month for accomadation which is shared(i do have a room which meets the 50 sq ft requirement) including bills ..this accomadation is temporary and will be getting a flat of our own but was thinking using my current address for my application as can get a letter stating i have the place for 12 months which i believe is also required. I am now just trying to get together any evidence i can which so far consists of
6 pay slips
going to get a 6 month bank statement nearer the time ( when my account looks better)
copy of p60 from inland revenue
copy of contract of employment
my passport or will a copy / photocopy do?
copy of my booking for the wedding from the reg office
photo's of myself and partner together
birthday card
Christmas cards to each other
copy of phone bill highlighting her number
copy of emails sent to each other
was thinking of a letter from friends and family verifying the relationships real? also would i need a copy of their passports to accompany any letter?
letter from landlord (family) stating rent and agreed lease time (or would i need a proper rental agreement?)
anything else im missing?? also can anyone reccomend a good and reasonable solicitor as im terrified i'll make a mistake in the application and £350 is a price im willing to pay for piece of mind
many thanks in advance
I
