i want to apply for tier 1 general. i have a quary regarding my salary, i am getting my salary every week in form of cash and then i deposit the same in my bank account.

my question is that can i present bank statement as evidance of my salary.

You require 2 proofs for earnings from different sources.. 1. Bankstatement is OK other should be either:
a. Payslips or
b. Letter from employer giving the tabular salary splits to colloborate/match with the bankstatemnets..
i think 2nd (b) option will help you a lot as u are paid in cash..
