Verification by employer

Post by Ahmed80 » Mon Nov 02, 2009 5:19 pm

Hi,

I have a Tier 1 visa, I have been offered a job at a bank recently.
I was told that the bank will conduct a verification of my visa from UKBA.

Is there any service through which employers can verify Tier 1 migrant details?

Isn’t Employer checking service only for the cases still with the UKBA?

Is there any other way for them to verify my details other than the Employer checking service.

Thanks

think they can ring UKBA with your visa reference to get details so leave it to them to do the verification.

That’s the thing. I don’t want a HR newbie barking up the wrong tree and make me wait for weeks unnecessarily.

I haven’t heard or read about any such service where employers can ring up and ask about any person.
