Change of employment

I have a Tier 2 General Visa (10/09 - 10/12). Recently I have been offered a better salary for the same post in a different company. Since the new compnay does not have a sponser licence yet. Will be wise to put down my papers till the new company gets its sponser license and applies for my Visa ?

Please do let me know what are the criteria to be fulfilled for change of employment. I was Tier 1 post study before this, but I cant move back to that any more.
