My husband and I are moving to the UK soon. I am EEA, he is not - he has Just received a family permit for the first 6 months, and will probably apply for a residency card.
My question is - How does health care work?
I am 6 months pregnant and will be giving birth in the UK. Do I need a private policy? I will not be working most of our first year there.
And as for my husband, who will be working - Does he need a private policy or is he entitled for public health care?
What do we need to get in order to receive health care? (Public Service /National Insurance number?)
