Earning claim - Part-time Work/Student visa

Hi everyone,

I am intending to switch my visa into Tier 1 from PSW. However my earnings during PSW is not enough to claim points.

Can I include my previous earnings when I was a student (worked part-time/20h per week/student visa)? I heard that UKBA has changed the rule with which the earnings during the period of full-time study is not eligible to claim. Please correct me if i'm wrong. Any response will be appreciated.

I am thinking to switch to tier 1 g from psw.

My details are as follows,

Finished master degree: sep 2008
Started working full time: oct 2008
Psw issued : jan 2009

Can i show my earning period from nov 2008 to oct 2009. I heared that while being on student visa u can nt work full time even if u have finished ur course. Also heared that u can not show ur student visa earning to qualify 4 tier 1 general.

Can some one please put light on it
