Hi vigigerm,

At this point you can probably only wait for things to happen.

The other thing you can do it to fax to the case worker to drop you an email once the decision is made so you can arrange for a courier pickup. If you are lucky maybe the case worker might be good enough to drop you an email with the status!

Do mention your email address in the letter. The format of the letter can be found at:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewto ... start=1400

However, I am not sure if this will work if you have already attached a special delivery envelope for the return of the docs. Have you?

Hi myegin,

congratulations. atleast you get your post early in the morning. Mine doesn't have a fix time which left me wandering most of the day.

was you packet delivered by normal postman or was it a driver in a red van. Sorry seems wierd question but just wanted to guess who will bring mine.

hey imran,

Sorry for butting in to answer your question to Myegin.

But you will get your special delivery from a postman with a van :).

I got it from him yesterday morning at 10 and then later in the day I got normal post as well. So they are two different deliveries.

just had a call from UKBA after I sent a fax. My docs have been delivered yesterday via Special delivery so hopefully, they should come sometime today or tomorrow.
The tracking number I am given isn't working at the moment.

Fingers crossed

Wow thats cool ID. I am surprised to learn that the UKBA actually called you to inform of this!

Nice! Now people have some chances of getting an update after getting the reference letter and before getting a decision.

Good stuff, and good luck!

Congrtas imran!!!

Yeah self-addressed special delivery is worth it! Who wants to wait a week for the documents to get to them in the worst case.

[color=darkred]In the approval letter that comes with the stamped passports one of the sentence reads.....

"This extension of your leave to remain completly replaces your previous leave including any conditions that were attached to that leave"

Two questions.........
1. Does it mean rules of tier 1 apply to us after switching from HSMP (if so bad news according to me)
2. does everyone with an approval has this in their letter
