EC documents from India

Hi ,
I am planning to go for the EC in the next two weeks. I had recieved the HSMP approval on september 20. I am planning to get my Visa done at first and in another sx months..I plan to take my family. can someone review the list of documents that I am sending and let me know if I had missed on anything.

List of documents I plan to send are :

1. Cover letter addressing to Embassy
2. Visa fees
3. Two photos
4. HSMP approval letter
5. VAF1 Form
6. 6 months salary statements
7. Bank balance statement showing funds of 6500 GBP
8. All experience letters which I had sent for HSMP approval
9. All the certificates of education.
10. Latest salary slips.
11. Accomadation letter from my friend.

DO not worry consider that you have got the VIsa stamping providee you produce the above mentioned documents

What does that letter say?

And John! What is they call up your office, talk to your to confirm the details of your experience letter.

Talk with whosoever picks the phone (receptionist) and try to extract the facts from her.... confuse her up and she ends up answering conflicting facts and then the ECO writes a report that the letters are potentially not genuine based on thier documents verification report?

Any comments to get that corrected after you have got the refusal letter?

I have got my EC. The missing documents in the list I have provided are:


Concrete proof of accomadation. Either hotel or friend.

If it is friend , then you require accomadation letter, His Passport copy along with Valid Visa , Rental agreement of friends or Council Tax papers.


Photo size is 50 mm X 50 mm.
