little girl crying for help ï¼

Post by rice_porridge » Sat Oct 31, 2009 9:02 am

 I am preparing for my T1 G ext.
I have a proper employed job but I also provide private language tuition for students personally. Those students pay me by cheque into my personal bank account. My questions are:

1) under which category should I consider myself to be for private tuition?
2) is pay-in by personal accepted as evidence for claiming points?
3) what documents should I provide?

P.S My accountant regis me as SELF-EMPLOYED and I have paid NI and Tax for private tuition already. He is also ready for issuing a letter. Am I doing something WRONG?

I would be grateful if anyone can help me, a poor little girl.

Self employed - have u register yr selffor this ? got documents from HMRC ? , CHECK Ffrom yr accountant

2) is pay-in by personal accepted as evidence for claiming points?

yes so long it is proved

3) what documents should I provide?

SEE yr accountant is qualified - some applicants lost their application as they have provided documents from other than qualified accountans (CHARTERED / CERTIFIED )

U need

1. Sole trader Accounts -PL & BS
2. Income certification of sole trader businesso only
3. Sales summary

I would be grateful if anyone can help me, a poor little girl.

I am such a silly girl because I have never doubt my account is not qualified. However, when I search his firm on ICAEW, the firm is not on the list. So I started to cry again.
Dear Sushil Acca, could you please kindly tell me how to verify HIS ACCA qualification, practising licence and etc. I am think asking him abruptly is not a nice manner, isn't it? :?

You can directly ask yr accountant and qualified accountants are required by law to tell u about their licence.

have they not signed aggrement with you ?

aggrement should mention by which Institute they r controlled . and in dispute where and whom to approch.

if u r not happy , dump them , and sort out your affairs with right person whose details u can check and give u proper documents.

any issue write here , members will guide u

Hi Sushil:
Sorry to ask you again.
1. Sole trader account --- does it mean my personal account? Because I didn't receive income from a company.
2. what does PL mean?
3. Income certificate -- what is this from?
4. sales summary --- is it from my accountant?

I have HMRC ect already.

Thanks soooooooo much
