Sending aplication to the friend in UK [plz reply its urgnt]

Post by farazfastian » Sat Nov 26, 2005 9:40 am

Dear all,

i'v discussed courier arrangment issue with dhl and fedex here in Saudi. Both are saying that signature is a must by sender party and even shipping courier form with ur signature can't work as it shuld be signed by sender party.

So, now i'm opting to send my application to my friend in uk and then he'll send it to hsmp but plz guide me how can i inform hsmp that they'll v to return documents to my friend's address not mine. Especially those members who did this plz help out here.

One more thing, hsmp team has any issue in sending my decision letter and documents to my friend in uk?

regards

As a rule, HSMP does not send an application made outside the UK to a UK address. Maybe this link will help.

papafaith..nope not completely true...except its a new development

both myself and husbands hsmp application were posted to a UK address.

That was was we requested in our cover letter, and i know of other nigerians who did the same thing without hassles.

well yodiyokun is abs rite.. i guess lots of the people v used their relatives/friends to send/receive documents,. The only thing i'm not sure is that wiritng in the coverletter will be enough or we'll v to change something in the form as well to use my friend's address in uk.

Yodi, you are right, but as a rule they dont, they just use their power of discretion. Mine was sent to a UK address after a week of mailing to persuade them because of the postal system in my country. I was told the HSMP granted me a waiver but it was an exception to the rule. I agree with you.
