Yes it does - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... tier1/igs/Gerel wrote:Unfortunately neither of UKBA and Home Office website mentioned that applicants on IGS need to apply for a different types of visa if they'd been on IGS for two years - there's no information what so ever.
Well that's hardly the your previous employer's fault.Gerel wrote:My employer ditched me last week, as soon as they found out that my visa had been refused. They dismissed me based on the grounds that they don't have the policy to Sponsor a foreign nationals even though I've been with them for over a year!!
The information is all on their website. It is NOT the system's job to inform you of what to do, it is YOUR job to find out what to do. It is no one's fault other than your own. As for what to do next, if you don't qualify for another visa in the UK then you will have to leave.Gerel wrote: What am I to do folks? I feel like I made an aweful big mistake by not knowing the new PBS. The system has failed to inform me correctly and as a result I lost.
I take this as an insult, you're now being extremely rude and defensive of the failing system.meats wrote:Yes it does - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... tier1/igs/Gerel wrote:Unfortunately neither of UKBA and Home Office website mentioned that applicants on IGS need to apply for a different types of visa if they'd been on IGS for two years - there's no information what so ever.
Well it doesn't say it out loud, does it. It's still very vague.

I understand it's not their fault, but they should have considered it at least.

Take it in whatever way you want, the information that you said isn't available is blatantly available and it's your fault that you weren't aware of it.Gerel wrote:I take this as an insult, you're now being extremely rude and defensive of the failing system.meats wrote:Yes it does - http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/worki ... tier1/igs/Gerel wrote:Unfortunately neither of UKBA and Home Office website mentioned that applicants on IGS need to apply for a different types of visa if they'd been on IGS for two years - there's no information what so ever.

The information is all on their website as i have just shown you. It took me less than 2 minutes to find it all along with the changes made to the IGS. As i said earlier, it is up to YOU to find out what is needed and NOT the UKBA.Gerel wrote:Sorry but I feel as a public service organisation that is partially funded by immigrants UKBA should be responsible for making things a little easier for us, especially when they change the rules and regulations every so often.
I wouldn'be surprised if you turned out to be a member of the BNP, who has nothing to do but to belittle people like me who is just little upset and confused with the new system.
Your rudeness and banality is beyond my belief!!
The way i speak to you is the way that i speak to everyone who blames everyone but themselves when the information is readily available and easily accessible. This is regardless of what race, sex, nationality you are.Gerel wrote:The way you talk at me shows you have very little respect for immigrants, that's why I still think you have something to do with BNP or its affiliates.
It's actually people like you who are dragging this country down and blaming this country because you couldn't find what you were looking for. The following, from your first post, says all that is needed to be known about people like you: "The system has failed to inform me correctly and as a result I lost." It is NOT for the system to inform you, it is for YOU to know what is happening.Gerel wrote:I respect this country and the way it provides justice to everyone and anyone, but it's people like you who really brings this country to shame.
The UKBA is a public body and as such is funded by the taxpayer. I'm in no way a supporter of the UKBA as the vast majority of people working for them are incompetent, however the information that you wanted was easily available on their website and easily found.Gerel wrote:Ok, perhaps you could tell me what would happen if UKBA was a business organisation that put out a little confusing or even misleading message on their website?, I bet you would be the first of millions to throw up compaints if the service you received wasn't up to a sctratch.
You got your information, you didn't like it that you were wrong, good riddance to you.Gerel wrote:Well, I shall congratulate you on your endeavour for being the utmost prick in this entire forum. You're a full of abuse!! and I'm glad I pointed that out.
I'm out so please don't try to insult me any further.
