Typical INIS at its best.
I hope and wish not many on this forum are impacted by this.

what that mean? 2 points 8 years ago and still got refused?? i thought those points go away after 3 years....

Code: Select all

"According to the organisation, one of its clients was refused citizenship “on the grounds that a traffic offence eight years ago, for which he was fined €100 and had his licence endorsed with two points, was sufficient grounds for refusal.â€

that 2 points might have been from driving without insurance or drunk driving, citizenship application will be affected by these kind of offences and will never go away (according to previous posts from this forum)

If they have a wish to refuse you they will find an excuse.

Eight points may be overlooked for some but two points may be the end for others.

As the article said there is no transparency.
