Got my Tier 1 visa, I had mentioned date of travel as 10 January 2010, but the visa issued to me is valid from 9/11/2009.

Is there anything I can do about this. My location is Delhi, India

Did you mentioned in your application/cover letter that you want your visa to be started from 10/01/2010?

Send an email to BHC Delhi. Not sure what is course of action for this?

I did not mention it in the cover letter, i had mentioned my intended date of travel as 10/1/2010 in the form

I dont think you can do anything about it. The start date depends on the caseworker I think. Some time they consider what you have said, sometimes they done.

Ask them to amend it.

Although not sure of the modalities, you can sure request them for amendment.
