diplomate of national board : regognised for tier 1 ?

Post by skop » Mon Nov 09, 2009 5:51 pm

I have a DNB (diplomate of national board) a 3 yr degree awarded by National Board of examinations from New Delhi. In India it is considered on par with Indian MD/MS degree for masters in medicine. Am awaiting NARIC reply , but cannot find the above in the NARIC database thread. does anyone know any better please?

incidentally, the institution from where I did the studies, Ie. BARC Mumbai is on the naric website!! but my certificate says 'post graduate training ' and 'national board' but not BARC anywhere, , would appreciate any advise regarding the same

thanks in anticipation

If it is not on NARIC database, then it is probably not recognised.

Wait for NARIC letter and if it is not recognised, then get letters from your institute and try to prove that your degree is part of BARC.
