traffic offense-adversly affect the application outcome?

Post by mbjxa » Fri Nov 13, 2009 11:50 pm

I am thinking to switch my current status from work permit to tier 1. Unlucky enough, I was caught by police with a traffic offense. I don't know what sort of influence that would be towards the outcome of my application.
Anybody has any idea out there?
Thanks,

Depends on the severity of the offence.

If you got points, then mention it on application and it is not a big deal. But if you got Court sentence or jail (I hope not) then it will definitely affect.

There will be court hearing, but according to police officer 3 points deduction is likely. I am not quite sure what you mean by saying 'court sentence'. Is this point deduction a court sentence? Forgive me for my naivety.
