Maximum duration to be away from UK with tier1 visa

Hi,

How long is tier 1 visa valid if someone is not able to visit UK. For example, I get tier 1 visa in January,2010. Is there any time limit that I should get job in UK or visit UK after I get the visa ?

there is no fix precedent on this
visa is valid till stamping date

BOrder officer can ask you ? in this respect and you need to satisfy him /her to enter after 3 months (no fixs rule)
