passport submission with HSMP application ?

Post by vijayb » Wed Nov 30, 2005 4:20 pm

I am from India. Please advise me urgently if I have to submit passports(self & wife) along with other documents while submitting HSMP application ( 28 years & above). Iam sending my application tomorrow.
Please advise me immediately.
Thanks,
Vijayb

Passport is only a prerequiste for EC or FLR and not for your HSMP application.

Furthermore, your passport cannot be sent out of the country on its own. It must always accompany you. Please examine your passport as it will be stated in that.

Please let me know if one has to submit copy (attested/notarised) of passport (if original passport submission is not required) along with HSMP application.
Thanks,
Vijayb

Hi Vijay,
I would recommend sending the notarized copy, it also acts as proof for your DOB

You would only need to send a notarised photocopy of the passport as proof of age. If you have a birth certificate, then it is not neccesary to do so.
