Part time job earnings..

Post by mno2uk » Thu Nov 19, 2009 3:50 pm

I received earnings for part time for 2 months and received it by cheque for 30k each and the same was deposited in to my bank account. This was more like project work but not for the entire month and i did it from home.

There are no pay slips but when i asked the vfs people they say ===

"Part-time employment along side full-time employment is acceptable. In this instance, if the applicant is being paid by cash, she will be required to submit a letter from the employer detailing the salary for each month and the same should correspond with the cash deposited in the bank. Pay slips for this employment will be useful documents."

1. For the letter part - what can be the content of the letter ?
as fr the details for salary its more like all in all gross/net pay with no deductions.
2. The amonuts are matching - Do i need to attach cheque photo copies as well?
3. Do i need pay slips (but i dnt have any)

The amounts for cheques match the ones in my account that i am using for my paper work in general and they are exact match.

Help guys .. thank you so much..

Any one who has been successful in such a case from outside UK,please do post..

Ans 1. Print this on Part-time employer's letter head

To Whomsoever it may concern

This is to certify that Mr X has worked on a project from DATE to DATE with our organisation.

He was paid AMOUNT for this period by cheque as follows

Cheque No. Cheque Amount Date

Thanks

HR
Sign & Stamp

Ans 2: Attach Original Bank statments which shows that money was paid in.

Mention about part time income on your cover letter.

is this letter alright ? I can manage to get this one printed on the letterhead of the employer ..

Dated: <DATE>

To Whom It May Concern

This is to certify that <name> was employed with us as a <designation> on part time basis.

The period of his services was from <date> to <date>

The remuneration details are as under:

Month Cheque No.Date of Bank Credit GrossSalary(Rs.)Net Salary Rs.)

Total

Should you require any further information please feel free to contact this office at the below mentioned modes.

Yours faithfully,

For & On behalf of < company name>

for the sake of entry the gross and net are put in tho basically both are in full payments..

and the bank statements will work as other proof , the amounts match ..
date of bank credit is the one on which the cheque was finally credited..

Dear Ankreeti,

I am still in the process of doing my paperwork. In my opinion its okay to get the date of cheque, cheque no. and amount on the letter - signed n stamped on company letter head paper.

It should match the amounts credited in the bank and i guess that should be fine .

Are you getting an extension done as from your status it appears you are in UK already.

Best regards,
EmmEnnO..

Dear EmmEnnO..

Thanks a lot for your reply... this gives me confidance that part time freelancers can also take their chances in immigration.

You got me on my status... i am assisting a member of my family in Tier1 application process. As he is not yet set up on this forum, i asked the question on his behalf.

Would you consider sharing the result of your application

Certainly Ankreeti, as soon as I am able to file in the papers I will update here and plus with the result as well.

I guess as the Senior members have said it - the very basis of this paperwork has its roots in that the values should match your earnings and bank statements.

If that is the case, then it should not be an issue.

Best of luck with the application. God bless all..:)

Dear ukvisaguru_co_uk,

Can you please confirm that part time earnings are acceptable. I see that as per the guidance notes they are although there are doubts in the minds of applicants still.

In my opinion when the notes say that part time earnings are acceptable thats says it all ...

and next its important to note that amounts should match the ones in bank as well - - and also on the employee letter or payslips (whichever is available)

Also is it an issue if the there are no deductions since its final full payment - - hence the gross n net pay matches.

but the columns stay as mentioned in this post - date

Month,Cheque No.,Date of Bank Credit,Gross Salary(Rs.) Net Salary (Rs.)

Please help out Gurus..Thank you so much..
