Economic and Family Migration Direcotrate

Hello,

Does anyone has an Idea of what the job of the Ecomoic and Family Migration Directorate is?

My wife apply for leave to remain since 2007 and was sent a letter requesting more inoformation by the Economic and Family Migration Directorate in Liverpool I think. The address to post to was Managed Migration in Liverpool.
We have sent back the documents since september but still no response.

Any advice please[/b]
