My docs reached Home Office and the fee was deducted on 13-Nov-09. In addition, I received letter from Home Office confirming the receipt of my application (along with the reference number). I've arranged for a courier to collect my docs from Home Office (after processing) - this was mentioned on the cover letter and I also faxed the letter to Home Office (quoting my reference number).

I'm planning to move house in the next couple of weeks and wanted to know if this would impact my application processing. All post coming to my old address would be redirected to my new address (Royalmail Service).

Based on the timelines given on Home Office site, my application would only be reviewed in the first week of December.
During the week commencing 23 November 2009 we expect to be considering applications that were received on or before 2 November 2009. Please note that this timescale is a guideline only, and some cases may take longer to consider.
Do I need to complete the "Change of circumstances" form?

Many thanks
Hi GGreg, Which courier did accept to do it for you? HO doesnot accept those needing to sign.

Great, thanks Ramesh. I've already redirected my postal deliveries to my new address. Also, in my cover letter I had mentioned, I'd be arranging for courier pick-up and also send a fax to them. Many thanks again.

Bank Letter-Maintenance Funds/for extension

Post by Anthopogon » Tue Dec 08, 2009 12:50 pm

Hi,
Royal mail lost my 3 months bank statement. I went to bank & a gentle man (so helpful) gave me a letter. But i am not sure about the language.

"You have maintained a credit balance of at least £0000.00 on your account since September 2009"

My question is "is it Sept 1st of Sept last of the Sept?". How do u interpret it? If you understand its 1st of Sept than 3 months maintenance requirement is fulfilled otherwise I will be in trouble.

Respected member pls comment.

Why dont u request your bank to send you a DUPLICATE copy of the bankstatemets to your home address OR

Ask them to print the missing bankstatements and sign and stamp them on each page for you OR

Why dont you print the bankstatements and get them signed and stamped by the bank on each page...

Letters from bank are used in case if you do not have a regular accoutn and have Online account and when you print them bank signs on it and supports with a letter..

NOTE: Put your query as a seperate thread if not it will be gone in the flood of msgs here...

Pls call me Ramesh..

sorry for mis undestanding ur Question..

You are in NO trouble for your funds.....

please read Page 35 of 44 of HO Guidance Paragraph 195..

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... idance.pdf

Applicants in the United Kingdom seeking • further leave to remain must have at least £800 of personal savings which must have been held for at least three months prior to the date of application

For Dependent funds please read Page 8 of 18 paragraph 40-42:

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... policy.pdf

40. If the Tier 1 migrant has been in the United Kingdom for 12 months or more, each family member of the Tier 1 migrant must have £533 to support himself/herself.

41. For example, the Tier 1 migrant has 41. been in the UK for 6 months and is making an application at the same time as his/her spouse and two children. He/she must show that he/she has £1600 for his spouse and a further £1600 for each child, in addition to £800 required for his/her own support. In total the family will require evidence that they hold £5600 in available funds (£1600 x 3 = £4800 + £800).

42. If the same Tier 1 migrant and his family 42. had been present in the UK for two years, they would require evidence that they held £2399 (£533 x 3 = £1599 + £800) in available funds.

But if you and ur dependents are already in UK on HSMP.. why dont u apply after 2months to complete 12months period to save on showing funds unless u have enough funds...

My time lines are exactly like yours. However, I haven't got anything yet.
Did they sent you in the special delivery envelope that you provided?

Time period to make the first entry to UK

Post by babumk » Thu Dec 10, 2009 10:41 am

I have a valid "Tier 1 (General) Migrant" VISA stamped on my passport. The VISA is valid from Oct 12 2009 and I am planning to travel on March 2010. I would like to know if there is a stipulated time period within which I have to make the first entry to UK from the visa validity start date.

Is it acceptable to enter UK say after, 4 months from the validity start date? Also does this have a consequence on visa extension at the end of 3 years ?

Visa stamped: 7th Dec 2009
Valid till: 17th Dec 2012
