Enquiry on HSMP visa extension

I am currently in the UK , under HSMP visa and my visa expires on 3dr of March 2009. Which is the latest date i can apply for my extension? Can i submit my application by 1st of March 2009?

You can apply in January for extension.

As my family is there with me, i need to show approx £2000 for three months.I can only make it by end of feb.

So can i hold on till then?

u can apply anytime b4 ur expiry. But remember ur trading on thin ice. A postal strike, late arrival of a document, a pmnt declined and u bcm an overstayer.

It all depends how straight forward is ur case..

But pls remember that for maintenance funds you can use one or more accounts in or outside UK.. dependent can show their maintenance from their own accounts..

u have lOts of options to choose

Hi Girish, Yes I think you can send your application any time before expiry. If you send your appilaction on 1st march, make sure you send by Royal Mail Nextday SD then HO will receive by 2nd march. And if there is any strike SD will not be affected. But try asap to send your application.
