how easy 2 find new employer 2 sponser 4 u in changing job

hi ppl,

Just wanted to know how easy these days to find another employer ready to soponser u if u already in tier 2 general. I am in web technologies profession...

also if i get tier2 general .. can i do other jobs or work as self employed to earn more to qualify for Tier1 general ?

Hi there,

It all depends on how desperately your new employer needs your skill set. Although the economy is starting to pick up but overall job situation is still not good and current immigration rules are not favourable.

I'll suggest you to keep applying for job and hope for the best.

As a Tier 2 visa holder, you can only work for 20 hours a week on a second job

but when they say u can work 20 hrs in second job .. do we need any permisson or anything to take this other job from home office ?

also can we work as self employed while on a tier 2 general ?

No, you don't need a separate permission to work 20 hours a week as it is already provisioned in the immigration rules.

You can work as employed or self employed as long as it is within 20 hours a week condition.

oh that is kind of gr8 news you just given me.

I was afraid not able to work as self employed and was wondering how i am gonna earn more for tier1 general salary requirement ..
