Congrats aksh_uk.

I saw your post regarding the IT returns that I had asked:

http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=48265

Could you please say if you had provided these documents as well? Also what other extra documents did you supply along with the documentation other than the mandatory ones?

Kindly help as I am also planning to apply in Jan 2010.

Hi Balak2,

As I had these documents with me, I submitted that. But at the same there was one more applicant who applied Tier1 without Tax returns and got the Visa stamped( He provided the Payslips(sign & stamped) and Bank statement to cross verify them).
So if you have IT returns with you, its no harm in submitting them, otherwise also its ok.

Even VFS guys were asking for the job offer leter, accomodation proof/aggrement, jod search results, which I dont had and didnot submit any such document.

Apart from mandatory documents this was the only supporting document attached with my application. Of cource I submitted all my education certificates/marksheet from 10th onwards.

Also refer the excelent link for cover leters.
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=46010

And verify the bank letter format for the fund maintenance.

Used the same format as given by 'deepakbgl'.

I hope it helps you.

Thanks

Hi Aksh,

Congratulations!

I would be applying in Jan10 for my Tier I G. Is it really necessary to provide all your educational certificates with the application?

Wouldn't it suffice if we only submit the Post Graduate certificate as mentioned in the guidance booklet?

I have had a bitter experience sending unwanted documents earlier which resulted in refusal (eventually they corrected their mistake by giving me the visa!) - this was for my UK student visa. Hence, i am slightly concerned to send anything that is not asked in the guidance document but request your suggestion based on your experience.

Looking forward to hear from you,

Cheers,
Maddy

Hi maddy_uob,

As per my experience(VFS Bangalore), the VFS person seperates the documents submitted for claiming points and the additional supporting documents(which can be refered/used by case worker, if required). Its really unfortunate if there is a mistake done during the preperation of the application.

But do submit the marksheets along with the Degree cert.

Thanks

Many Thanks Aksh, I would submit the marksheets of my MBA. But, the marksheet which my Uni gave me does not have any signature and stamp but on a Uni letter head - would it not be a problem sending this? I have a letter which the Uni normally gives for Tier I G applicants that states this guy studied here, graduated on <date>, English was the taught language, start date end date etc.

Pls suggest if I can submit the market sheet in the above circumstances where the mark sheet is not signed and stamped.

Cheers,
Maddy

Transcripts/marksheets are not required to claim points. Only Degree Certificate is sufficient and required. These are additional documents.
