As a ILR holder you will be considered as a settled person in the country. Therefore same rule applies. Does not make any difference. It can take anything between 3 days to 6 months. Depends which country you are applying for and how strong your documentation is?global gypsy wrote:I am currently on ILR and eligible for citizenship early next year.
My question is this:
I am planning to get married over the next 2-3 months. Is it faster to bring my wife here on my current ILR status or should I wait until my citizenship comes thru before I get her application processed?
And how long would either option take, on average?
Thank you for any tips you can provide on this.
I repeat I am not a professional but most of the information you need is given in the link below :global gypsy wrote:keshgrover - thanks for the info.
Can you also point me to the relevant forms and guide to what documentation needs to be included with the application.
I would like to get prepared well in advance.
