whats the meaning of continuous employment

I have been in work permit till march 2006 and still now. However there was a gap from 20th june 2007 to 1st july 2007, as I changed my employer. I have got a new work visa issued then in-country. My visa status is continuous without any gap, but I was out of work for those 10 days. Is it ok when I will apply for ILR hopefully in february 2011? If yes, how long is the gap allowed moving from one job to another?
