continuous stay reqt - paid by UK company but working abroad

I am an Oracle consultant and on tier 1 visa in the UK.
I am currently a permanent employee but thinking of going contracting..

lets say i setup my own company.. and give myself monthly salary thru my company..

i was wondering in cases where I get paid by my company in the UK but I work outside UK for diff client on contract basis..

does this stay outside UK affect the continuos employment and permamnent residence / ILR etc... ?
any idea?

Very basic, you need certain amount of days to fulfill residency requirements for ILR. You must determine how many days you will be out of the country to answer your questions. Further, the HO is not as lenient as before regarding these type of work absences.
