Dependent Enter UK before Main Applicant

Hello,

Can a dependent on Tier 1 General enter the UK before the main applicant does?

More elaborate scenario:
Myself and my wife have tier 1 general approved starting from Feb 2010. Can my wife (dependent) enter the UK in Feb 2010 and I follow in March 2010 as I have some commitments to get done with in first week of March 2010.

I would appreciate all the inputs to this question.
