ILR based on 10 years and job

Post by saurya_s » Tue Dec 15, 2009 3:52 pm

Hi all,
I am thinking of applying for ILR based on 10 years and have got a new job offer. So when I apply for the job, do I need to be employed? Can I resign (so I will be on notice period and my employee will not support me with any paper work if required) and apply for ILR in the notice period?
Thanks
