Post by Yinkuze » Mon Dec 12, 2005 7:34 pm

My friend has a Bsc honors from an acredited university, he has a job but the title of the job is 'Graduate Trainee', he has no definate job description as he is just being moved across all the departments in the organization so that he could learn all about the organization

what can he present in terms of reference leter that will earn him graduate level experience.

Hi,

How long has he been moving around departments? Is he planning to apply for HSMP holder or Skilled Partner?

If he is planning to be the HSMP holder, he will need to prove at least 2 years of graduate level work experience (considering he is under 28). I suppose the best way is to avoid mentioning the department changes, and try to focus on main/commom tasks that your friend did on most of the departments. The title will certainly cause problems, trainees are not qualified as Highly Skilled professionals...

If he is a skilled partner, he will need to prove his BSC is recognized by NARIC, and prove 2 years of relationship in order to get the 10 points for this category.

Good Luck,
Lu.
