FLR (M) Same day application

Hi all,
If one applies for FRL(M) application in person (along with the spuse and his/her passport), does the home office process whole application on the same day and does one get the passport same day?

UKBA does not guarantee to issue the visa on the same day, and of course does not even guarantee to issue a visa at all. All applications are judged on their merits, but for applications made in person at a PEO, over 95% are issued on a same-day basis.

Just make sure you have all the required evidence with you, and even, if possible, take "reserve evidence" with you in case they have a query. That is, take more than enough evidence with you, and if the application is non-contentious, the visa will be issued that day.
