i lost my passport i have psw visa on it require urgent help

Hi guys

i lost my passport and i have psw visa valid until 2011 please let me know your comments what should i do i shall be very thankful to you.

1. Report your passport lost with your local police station as soon as possible and get a crime report.

2. Speak to your embassy/high commission and request a new replacement passport.

3. Send your new passport to Home Office for the visa to be stamped along with proof of loss (crime report).

Check with your country's embassy as to whether you need to pay a fee for the new passport or not.

i amend to ask visa fee because i need to apply for the visa again after getting new passport so do i have to pay visa fee again ?

dear psw2009, make sure you has backup of your college or university
coz ukba will go through all things again and there is Â£50 fee for re stamping(I'm not 100% sure) or contact UKBA.
