bank statements - Central bank of India

Dear All.
In country - UK application

had some earning in India.

Central bank of INDIA doesnt give any statement printout ?
only Pass book update .

It doesnt show the company details (from where the money was paid)

only shows cheque number and amount.

WILL UK UKBA accept the Passbook as evidence.

with only cheque number of payment ?

SBI does give statement on request on dot matrix paper. During my initial entry to UK I have submitted bank statements from SBI in dot matrix with stamp and signature. Try to find any known person in that branch or meet Manager and explain your problem hope they will give you the statements.
