Ask your agent for a copy of previous rejection letter or your application material. May be you can find some rejection information/stamp in your passport.

What was the rejection reason?

While you apply for Tier 1 general, there are questions that ask for the reference numbers, which is how they link you applications in the past.
(They might have other combinations as well, such as the applicant name and Date of Birth for identifying the individuals to be unique)

Some one in the past has answered to your question asking for SAB report!. PM him so, he can advise you on how to obtain that report?

If you require copies of information held on you by UKBA please write to:

UK Border Agency (UKBA)
Subject Access Bureau (SAB)
Information Management Directorate
Data Protection Unit
Lunar House
40 Wellesley Road
Croydon CR9 2BY
Tel: 0208 760 4992
Fax: 0208 760 3394

Include your full name as on your UKBA documents

Port Reference and/or Home Office Reference numbers and address where you are living or detained.

Entitle the letter "Data Protection Act 1998 - Subject Access Request"

Then write

"I would be grateful if you could disclose the entire contents of my file. I enclose a cheque for £10".

Sign the letter and send the original but keep a copy, and send by recorded post.

Enclose a cheque for £10 made payable to 'Home Office Accounting Officer'.

This works well but I think only for people who are in UK. I personally used SAR report for my ILR preparation. But not sure whether or not HO entertain out of country application. Also HO's reply after quite a long time. They said they will response in 4 weeks but usually required reminders. Better send £10 and letter by Special delivery so that you can trace it and use as reference.

Seems the person is in UK, as per user ID location details. But who know, until he/she responds!

Details of SAR.

http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... tion11.pdf

How to get it:

1. You need to send a letter to Home Office.
2. Include Postal Order/Cheque in favour of "The Accounting Office - Home Office". Most of the post office doesn't accept credit/debit card for Postal Order payments. Better carry cash.
3. Send both the above to the below address(preferrably by special delivery):
Address:
The Data Protection Unit
Lunar House
40 Wellesley Rd
Croydon
CR9 2BY

Note** Send xerox copy of your passport and visa stamped pages so that person at HO can easily find your information.

Letter which you need to send is as below:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To,
The Data Protection Unit
Lunar House
40 Wellesley Rd
Croydon
CR9 2BY

Date: 16/03/2009

As advised by mvent check your rejection letter. You will have HO reference on it.

Also can you tell us where you are applying from? If you have applied from within UK than your agent's detail can be traced from OISC website.

SAR report gives you all the data HO is holding for you. Just mention in the letter that you need all your information which HO is holding for you.

I m going to apply from india.
And right now i m in uk on student dependent visa.
Here I try to explain my visa status and applications...
1)Applied for WHM - Got rejection-Appeal-Approved from 07/12/05 to 07/12/07
2)Applied for hsmp-Got rejection-Never get result -gone back to India.
3)Applied for Student dependent visa-Approved in first try-from 01/01/08 to 30/06/09
4)Applied for Student dependent visa-Approved in first try-from 01-07-09 to 01-10-2010...
Now my question about 2 application ....
One thing i want to let every one know that in third or fourth application i had not mentioned about my rejection of hsmp i dont know i have to stated that or not....
And i got approval.....
So guide me with going through whole my application histories....

You will be fine if you mention the time when you got rejected and rejection reason(as mentioned in the rejection letter).I feel so because you have got approval after that rejection. Though "never got result" still confuse me and make me think what happened there? But if you apply for SAR report you can get those details as well.
Once you have details(via SAR), you can then present details in your application accordingly.
For Tier-1 if you are meeting all eligibility creteria and provide all correct details chances of rejections are very very slim presuming you are not rejected earlier for wrong reasons. But best step forward is to get SAR report so that you are aware of your weakness before applying.

You should answer every question in application form honestly, otherwise it would be considered as deception. If you are going to apply from India, you have to provide full details of your travel/immigration history. You should provide details of all accepted or rejected visas. Try to get reference number of that rejection by above-mentioned procedures and include that in your application form.
