Net Salary for Germany

Post by avkreddy1976 » Thu Dec 31, 2009 2:05 pm

Hi, I am Indian national working in Germany on work permit from last 1 year. For Tier1 General visa on previous earnings I am getting net salary of Euro 37560 or equivalent 33052 pounds. I need to get 40 points for me to qualify and How is points for previous earnings for net salary is calculated for Germany.

My bank statement reflect the net salary, could you please let me know how many points I would get for above net salary in Germany.

Thank's,
avkreddy.

You should consider Gross salary not net salary. For 40 points it should be more that £34999.

Net Salary for Germany

In my payslip only net amount is listed which is paid to employee and tax is paid by the company. If the employee only receives net salary and does not show any tax components in payslip how is the gross calculated for Germany in order to check the bracket for previous earnings (35,000 pounds).

Is it possible for you to get a letter from your employer with all the GROSS & NET Salary per each month where Net amoout is matching with the net amount deposited in your bank?

You can find the letter format at the link

Thank you for the inputs. I can get the payslip with Net amount which matches with amount deposited in the bank. To get gross letter from employer is difficult. Does the tax returns form for year 2009 (Jan 2009 to Dec, 2009) which shows the tax deduction can be used as proof for Gross earnings.

Do you not have a contract from the employer which states the salary?

Yes. We get the deputation letter at start of the assignment with net salary and does not list the gross salary.
