child dependant visa

child dependant visa

Hi
recently i got extended my visa with endorsement as Tier 1 general migrant(8 months ago) before that i was on Hsmp for 4 years and due to some reasons couldnt apply for ILR.

Now i want to make a visa application in India for my baby born in U.K

what amount of maintenance fund should i show?

Iam on maternity leave does this effect the application?

Vfs sent me a email reply that i need to show only£533 for my dependant only.can u please clarify further.

You need to show the funds to support yourself as well, which is where the £800 came from.

as per my understanding from Vfs extract below it is £533 please correct me if iam wrong.

What supporting documents should my dependants include with their application?

Your dependants should include all the documents necessary to show that they qualify for entry to the UK as your dependant. If they do not, we may refuse their application.

As a guide, your dependants should include:

evidence of their relationship to you;
evidence that there is £1600 (or £533 if you have been in the UK for more than 12 months) for each dependant, in your or their personal bank account for maintenance, and that the money has been there for at least 3 months prior to the date they make their application; and
a copy of the pages from your passport/travel document showing your permission to stay, if you are already in the UK.

My baby got visa stamped in India with only £533 maintenance shown.

I am in same situation, Have to apply for baby born in india.
I am on tier 1 and wife on tier 1 dependant.

Few queries if you can plz reply:

1) Which application form
2) Application fees
3) Supporting documents

If someone has come across the above query plz reply
