No Paydate in Payslps, only months

No Paydate in Payslps, only months

My payslip doesn't contain any paydates, only months for which the salary is paid. ie March 2009 etc. Is it ncessary to have a paydate in the payslip?

However my bank statements clearly mention that the salary is credited for the month of MAR 09.
