LATE DECEMBER PSW APPLICATION TIMELINES

Hey guys!

Let´s update some timelines if you have sent your PSW application on late December as it seems to be a very slow period due to vacations, high amounts of applications and blah, blah so we can have a clue of what is going on.

I sent mine on Dec 29th and haven´t received acknowledgment letter.

Additionally, any suggestions of what document can I show to an employer who made a job offer to start mid January who is very picky on my visa (I probably won´t receive my passport by then) or any piece of information helpful regarding that as I am very worried they might withdrawl the offer becasue of this.

applied on 22nd dec, got the acknowledgement letter on the 4th of january. the letter was dated 24th of jan. nothing after that :) still waiting, should be back somewhere around the last week of jan

has it been snowing where you live?

perhaps postal delivery's delayed

maybe you need to call them?

You are right oilly, I guess the acknowledgement letter is also taking long becasue of the snow and all.

Good luck on your applications easy1984 and aliale, keep us updated!!

Any ideas on what document can I show or what arguments can I use to the employer meanwhile so they won´t withdrawal the job offer?

got the acknowledgement letter today, so that´s application sent dec 29th, money deducted jan 4th and acknowledgment letter received jan 8th.

hope it won´t take long

applied on 18-Dec, recieved acknowledgement letter dated 22-Dec-09 on 24-Dec-09. My application should be considered in the week of 18-Jan-10. (fingers Xssed)

Ive sent mine on 22nd of december .. Received the acknowledgement letter on 28th and the acknowledgement letter was dated 24th. Nothing after that. NO idea how long will it take .

need to show to the employer. .. :(

Hey guys,

Just to let you know that I have received my Visa, here´s the timeline:

application sent: dec 29th 09
acknowledgement letter dated: Jan 4th 10
visa received: Jan 30th 10
