Post by london_prem » Sun Jan 10, 2010 8:45 am

Hello,
I am an Indian citizen. I have a Masters degree from USA and work experience in USA. Recently I moved to India and now I am applying for UK Tier 1 General from India.

1) Do we need to attach “Points Based Calculator Self Assessmentâ€

Bank Stmts

Post by london_prem » Sun Jan 10, 2010 10:02 am

I have one question:

All my bank statements are electronic bank statements from Bank of America, USA. But I moved to India now, so I can not get them signed and stamped from USA. Is there any other way to show my previous earnings?

I have all payslips.

Thanks,

Thanks,
2 different sources of evidence for earnings proof and one of them is pay slips/employer letter. The other one is bank statement and it should be as per guidance. If it is electronic, then Case Worker does not accept.
Regards,
vks

If the applicant wishes to submit electronic bank statements from an online account these must contain all of the details listed above. In addition, the applicant will need to provide a supporting letter from his/her bank, on company headed paper, confirming the authenticity of the statements provided. Alternatively an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in question will be accepted. This stamp should appear on every page of the statement.

Hi, Thanks for reply.

I am showing maintenenace funds from my Indian account with ICICI Bank which has sufficient funds. So I can get stamp from ICICI.

BUT I was talking about previous earnings. I earned money in USA and I only have electronic copies (without stamp). Infact, there are no stamps in USA. The electronic copies are exactly same as if I receive a paper copy (with logo etc). Can I just print them and attach with application?

Thanks,

HO Guidance says.."electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp " so I would suggest to wait for applicants from US to share experience or in the mean time, search the forum for previous same questions...
