Urgent help regarding dependent application.

Hello,

Thank you for looking my post and I hope someone will reply quickly.

I done my Masters from UK University in London and now going to apply for PSW before my student visa expire.. on March.

I am showing bank statements of last three months 800+533 in my HSBC student account. (I hope that will be good enough for us) + bank account confirmation latter that I have account with them since 200x and had amount more then £1500 for last three months

We are going in person same time this week.

Now I am stuck on following questions in dependent visa form.

Can anyone please reply ASAP. I'll be very greatful...

J. Further details: Page 29

J2. Has the main applicant received notification that their application for leave to remain under the Points Based System has been successful?

J4. Has the main applicant applied to have his/her application assessed in accordance with paragraphs 39-42 of the HSMP Forum Ltd. Judicial Review Policy Document?

K. Maintenance: Page 30

Maintenance certified by the sponsor

K4. A letter from the A-rated sponsor confirming that, where necessary, it will maintain and accommodate the dependant during his/her first month in the United Kingdom.

Do I have to tick these 3 box's or which one's I have to tick.

Looks like the application you are filling is for Tier 2 or Tier 4 dependants.. this forum is for tier 1 - PSW



Sorry u r right ... I just got confused... I am used to a form that is to be used for applications made outside UK !!!

Wrong this is the form for dependents... left top corner, different form

PS: We both are in UK and applying within UK (inperson) not from outside UK

You are asking about the dependant's form. Refer the URL you have provided in your message.
See page 29. Section 4 Main Applicants details. The answers are:
J1 - YES
J2 - NO
J3 - Tier1 Post Study Work go to Q. K1
J4 - NO
J5 - First box

See page 30 K. Maintenance
K1 - tick Box for 12 months or over. Go to Q. K3.
No need to answer K2 and K4 these are for tier2 and 5.

As for yourself, you will have to fill in another form as the main applicant. You can apply together but remember: there are 2 different forms. One for you as the main applicant and another one is for you dependant. Your bank statements should show 800 + 500 for 3 months. thanks.
