Is it possible to apply for a student visa from canada (no status) to study in england?

If you are 'illegal' in Canada, then you cannot apply for a student visa to the UK! You need to go back to your home country, and apply from there.:roll:

But as long as you're legal in another country you can apply from that country, yes?

You would normally be expected to apply from your home country, or your country of legal residence.
