NO aknowledgement letter

Post by mikeperrou » Mon Jan 11, 2010 5:45 pm

Hi, Everyone

my Girlfriend applied for visa begining of december, but didnt get the acknowledgemnt letter yet. The problem is that her employer has given her a deadline to produce the letter or she has to stop working.

Any advice for her course of action.

Thanks

Actually, she did call the home office, but they refused to send a duplicate or give a reference number.

does your gf have enough fund and proper degree?

if she does I think she will get visa anyway no matter that you get ack. letter or not.

Maybe you just need to wait a bit more due to the weather

Best luck for you

1. U shud have an ACK. LETTER for u application.
2. Please keep u postal receipts and if u used recorded or special delivery then log on to the royal mail web site with u reference number for the postage and check that the application has been delivered to the correct address.

thanks for your help oilly,
Hopefully the application is ok, but she needs something to show her employer that she applied otherwise she has to leave her job.

@ash786, she knows that the home office received the application, they charged her debit card 2 days later.

The main Problem for her, right now ,is that she has nothing to show that her application is in process.

Thanks for the link, ash786. That would be helpful. We are thinking to send a letter to the home office to request a duplicate of the AKO letter.
Is ther any link for a sample letter or template.
Thanks a lot
