Many thanks Eagleeye for your kindness. Sorry, I could'nt answer your PM earlier. Well I have spoken to them today and they said that application has now been given to a case worker team. And it can take any thing from now to six months. As mine is a special case I think it will take good couple of months. Lets see how it goes.
Regards

Hi Kesh....no buddy I haven't heard anything yet...just applied actually...I will soon update the forum with timelines.....I was wondering actually HO asks for 5 years of address in the application but I haven't attached any evidences of my stay in those properties during the mentioned date. I was hoping to phone them up and ask if they needed any evidences or they have somthing stored on their system already...What do you think Kesh.
Hello Eagle Eye....Any updates from your end?

Just a couple of interesting bits of information to share based on my recent NCS application.
The Home Office has directed the NCS not to process applications for applicants that have more than one fixed penalty notices in the last 12 months, i.e. speeding fines - information that normally you don't even need to disclose on the AN form.
I was also told that the Home Office is usually pretty quick if the application is straightforward 'once they get going with it'. She said mine was, so I am optimistic about the timelines.
They are very thorough on the number of days spent outside the UK. Checked our passports page by page.
Hope that is helpful - Spartac

Wow!!! Very informative. HO is trying to cut down their own work by giving extra responsibilities to NCS.

Update
I had applied on 16th of Nov and heard nothing except acknowledgement. I phoned today to the homeoffice and they said that external checks are being done and after that my application will be alloted to a case worker and it may take 6-7 months.
Lets wait and hope for the best.
