Switching visa in country?

Post by lin » Wed Jan 13, 2010 8:37 pm

hi,

i have a psw visa and my hubby is my dependent. he will further his study in sept 10, thus can he switch into adult student category in country?

i look at UKBA website under 'visa-in-a-different-category' but couldnt find any info on dependent visa, does this mean he have to apply from outside?

please advise.

If he's your dependent, why would he need a student visa. he can study without one on a dependent visa.

Unfortunately, I don't think that a dependant may switch to Tier 4 (245ZX fails).

If you switch to work permit or HSMP your dependant are living here with you can switch again as your dependant.
Please correct it if I am wrong
