How to withdraw a appeal

Post by leader » Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:38 am

Dear friend,

I had applied for psw visa in October 2010 and I got a rejection in December 2010 because I didn't mention the traffic offence I made 2 years ago. Actually I jumped the red light and got 3 points coz of that.
I got my right to appeal bit now I have some family problems and its urgent to go back to home. Please let me know what is the criteria to withdraw my file from Asylum and Immigration Tribunal (AIT). I need to know the following
1. what do I need to do for this?
2. Will they send me paper work if I will withdraw?
3. How long it will take to get response/document from AIT
4. What would happen If i will leave UK without the withdraw my file?

pls help me...its very urgent

Call as many times as possible until u get somebody knowledgeable. I did this and eventually I get someby with common sense. A frd of mine called to withdraw but I have written and fax them requestin for several things. I did that to change my mode of appeal to oral hearing and request letter be faxed to me as royalmail misplaced one.

I hope this helps

Dear bvc07znu

Actually I sent my appeal on 28 Dec and they have not send me any notification yet. I had called to ait today and said there are number of application and your application is not uploaded in the system yet. How long they take to update their system or send you the confirmation as appeal was received by ait on 5th Jan.

Pls tell me
